The original Moka coffee pot, the Moka Express, was invented in 1933 by Alfonso Bialetti. It is Made in Italy and features a patented safety valve for easy cleaning. The pot is suitable for use on gas, electric, and induction stovetops with the Bialetti induction adapter plate.
To prepare the coffee, fill the boiler and add ground coffee without pressing. Place the Moka Express on the stovetop and remove from heat once it starts to gurgle.
The Moka Express comes in different sizes to accommodate various needs, measured in Espresso Cups.
After use, rinse the Bialetti Moka Express with clean water only. Do not use detergents or wash in the dishwasher as it will damage the product and alter the coffee taste.
